Refund policy

At Nordrest, your comfort matters more than a sale. If your cushion isn't everything you hoped for, we're here to make it right.


Our 30-Day Comfort Guarantee

You have 30 days from the date of delivery to return your Nordrest cushion for a full refund. We want you to sit on it, drive with it, and work with it — if it doesn't change the way you sit, you don't keep it.

This guarantee is offered in addition to your statutory rights under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, which give you a 14-day right to cancel any online purchase.


Eligibility for Return

To be eligible for a return, your item must be:

  • Returned within 30 days of delivery
  • In its original condition, with the cover intact
  • Accompanied by proof of purchase (order number or confirmation email)

We cannot accept returns on items that have been damaged through misuse, modified, or returned without prior authorisation.


How to Start a Return

  1. Email us at support@nordrest.co.uk with your order number and the reason for return.
  2. Within 2 business days, our team will reply with return instructions and a return address.
  3. Post the cushion back to us using a tracked service (we strongly recommend tracking — we cannot process refunds for parcels lost in transit).
  4. Once your return arrives and is inspected, we'll issue your refund within 5–7 business days.

Please do not send returns to the address on your original parcel — returns must go to our designated returns address, which we'll provide once you contact us.


Return Shipping Costs

  • Faulty or damaged items: Nordrest covers all return shipping costs.
  • Change of mind or comfort returns: The customer is responsible for return postage.

We recommend keeping your tracking receipt until your refund is processed.


Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we'll send a confirmation email and process your refund to the original payment method. Refunds typically appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.

The refund will include the full purchase price of the item. Original shipping fees (where applicable) are non-refundable unless the return is due to a fault on our end.


Damaged or Faulty Items

If your Nordrest arrives damaged, faulty, or not as described, contact us within 48 hours of delivery at support@nordrest.co.uk with:

  • Your order number
  • A photo of the item and any damage
  • A brief description of the issue

We'll arrange a free replacement or full refund — whichever you prefer. No need to return the damaged item unless we specifically request it.


Exchanges

We currently process returns as refunds only. If you'd like a different item, simply return your original order for a refund and place a new order at your convenience.


Non-Returnable Situations

We're unable to accept returns in the following cases:

  • Items returned after the 30-day window
  • Items that have been heavily soiled, stained, or damaged through misuse
  • Items returned without prior contact with our support team
  • Items purchased through third-party retailers (please contact the original retailer)

Cancellations

If you'd like to cancel an order before it ships, email support@nordrest.co.uk as soon as possible with your order number. We dispatch orders within 1–2 business days, so we can usually cancel if you reach us quickly. Once an order has shipped, it falls under our standard returns process.
